Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks through an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop with cutting-edge features look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few on-screen buttons to control the device manually.

The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode according to dirt levels. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.

It's got a host of other innovative features also, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to wash and clean the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. You can also use voice commands with the S8's built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular control options with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping capabilities that are offered at a lower price than competitors.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to get started, including creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops with ease.

It is important to remember that the mapping process could take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your living space. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and needed to turn to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do it all.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach spots even a robotic vacuum can't.

This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging station after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. The battery's life is enough to clean large areas without requiring an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at an affordable price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping technique that utilizes a roller continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt and deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation technology was effective and was able to navigate close to walls without falling and avoiding steps. It was unable to handle fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, which suggests it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dustbin and wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with an established schedule. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app, which gives an easy overview and lots of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available that are available. It delivers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the map coverage, set up no-go zones and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops before refilling them with water and detergent. The base station comes with an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.

6. S10

This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean. It can also reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home, so it knows what to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.

Other great features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and set custom the settings for each room of your home.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rug. If you're looking to save time, it will skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities it is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this robot is a good option. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can maneuver around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it can't take care of knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains slightly quicker than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the powerful  Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy, and it does a good job of getting around tight spots. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a picture of every object it comes across (i.e. chew toys,, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as great in mopping.  automated vacuum  uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
